Rumors have been circulating for days after former professional wrestler Mac daddy Squid was seen at the RMW headquarters. The details of his visit have not yet surfaced, although it has been very interesting to speculate just what his agenda is.
Mac Daddy squid has been quietly retired since his stint in UHW where he lead the Freaks of Nature. During his time there he became world champion and remained undefeated until the company collapsed. Just prior to this he had a successful run at the top of IWF reunion tour where he became world champion for the second time.
During the early to mid 2000's Squid was possibly the most polarizing figure in the wrestling business and never failed to speak his mind, even when he was voicing an incredibly different opinion than everyone else. This attitude made him many enemies within the business that would spawn many great feuds, but for the past few years no one had even heard from him.
So where has Squid been, what has squid been up to and why is he suddenly back on the professional wrestling radar, more specifically in Red Money Wrestling?

Sources close to the situation have confirmed that Mac Daddy Squid has signed a major long term deal, possibly a 5 year contract. It is unclear if he will be part of a creative booking team or an active competitor. Expect squid and RMW to make a formal announcement in the coming days- PWTorch Squid signed a 5 year multimillion dollar deal with RMW today. The retired superstar is set to feud for the world title immediately following his debut. -bleacher report I spoke to a few people in the industry this week and can not confirm or deny that squid may or may not have signed a deal with RMW, who may or may not choose to use his talents in some fashion in the ring or behind the scenes. -Alverez Twitter macdaddysquid; is it ture you signed with rmw? MacdaddySquid@sirpoopsalot: no, the rumor is laughable I'm happily retired.

Although Mac Daddy Squid has been denying the rumors that he has signed some type of deal with RMW all of our sources indicate that they are simply trying to keep it under wraps in hopes to keep his debut a surprise. Squid himself has insisted on twitter that he is happily retired and that the rumors were laughable. However there was an emergency meeting held by the board of directors. The board recently had a controversy that leaves many questions about their validity, however also at this meeting were co owners Victor Castro, Wife Beater, and Jack Hammer. It's strange that these men were able to maintain any sense of order while being in the same room with each other, but it seems as though they are all presenting a case to recent acquisition Mac daddy Squid. Once again Squid denied these reports on Twitter. MacDaddySquid: I left this business with my best friends on top of the world. I still have the IWF and UHW world titles in my possession. Why would I tarnish my retirement?#movedonalongtimeago. ten minutes after posting this tweet an unknown fan photographed Squid at the airport just a few hours away from RMW headquarters. Official Press release: So the rumors have been circulating like a California wildfire and although we here at RMW tried our very best to keep this a secret, secrecy in our business seems to be a thing of the past. Yes the rumors are true. Living legend and hall of famer Mac Daddy Squid has signed with our company. It is unclear in what fashion his talents will be used and we are strictly leaving that up to squid himself to decide. Whatever he chooses we know it will help guide us into our new direction. We will allow Squid the opportunity to explain things further, and like many of you cannot wait to hear what he has to say.

After the press release an official video surfaced on RMW.com of Mac Daddy Squid explaining the situation. Mac Daddy Squid:Well I know some of my twitter followers are probably SHOCKED to see my face here representing RMW from my recent statements, but I hope you all understand that we were trying to keep this quiet for the time being. However the internet damn near exploded so here I am at RMW once again. Some people may remember this, but when this company first opened I was a figurehead. Ultimately things broke down withing weeks and I went to greener pastures and left this place to suffer or succeed on it's own. Something that I took a lot of heat for. That was kind of my thing though. I was a heat magnet. I loved screwing people over, pissing people off and really enjoyed being legitimately hated. Mysterious X is a longtime associate of mine. There was a time early in our IWF careers that we rode together and he briefly was part of the Freaks of Nature. Although leaving him left a bad taste like all wounds time heals everything. I first considered a return to RMW when Wifebeater showed up in UHW. We chatted backstage about the possibilities of my return, but with the success that I had in the IWF and UHW I saw that as the best possible time to retire. On top of the world, and still fairly young and healthy. In my time away from the business I have kept close contact with some of my old stable partner, but have not really participated otherwise. I remained a fan, the best of us all started as fans first, and it's because that fandom refuses to die that I have now come out of retirement. I want to express to everyone that I am not returning to in ring competition. I put my gear away and it's going to stay locked up. No one wants to see Mac Daddy Squid main eventing any wrestling programs in 2012. I had a good run and I accomplished a lot. My signing with RMW is strictly an agent like role. A while back there was an announcement of a "NEW CLASS" coming to RMW and I will play a large role in bringing these men and women to RMW and ushering in the next generation. MY plans are not to take up your tv time, but simply provide you with the best matches in the world, being wrestled by the best wrestlers in the world. We won't be bringing a lump sum of wrestlers and allowing them to flounder with the established guys here, rather my plan is to bring in a few wrestlers at a time and allowing them to integrate into the roster, and when the transition is as smooth as possible we will then bring in more faces. So allow me to introduce the first two members of RMW's New Class.
