2KW Halloween Havoc (7)
WCW/ECW Unification Match
Sting (WCW) vs Rhyno (ECW)
⁃ After all the controversy with these two it's time to combine the titles and set a new path forward.
⁃ After a nice back a forth clean wrestling match Sting survived a Gore and hit a stinger splash + death drop for the win!
⁃ WINNER AND UNITED STATES CHAMPION: STING
Singles Match
Goldberg vs Rezar
⁃ Goldberg lost his belt to Rhyno from a cash in, then survived until the end of War Games only to tap to Bret Hart. Rezar was eliminated right before him. A lot of expectations for Rezar, but some say after winning KOTR he's fallen short of his potential. This is the proving ground. He called out the big dog, and industry experts are saying this is his make or break moment.
⁃ The match started with a handshake. An incredible back and forth battle of power moves. Rezar had to do twice as much work to do the same amount of damage. He hit his clothesline and spinning powerbomb but it wasn't enough. Goldberg landed a jackhammer but BAM Rezar kicked out. Eventually Rezar hit another clothesline and quick powerbomb to the neck for the upset!
⁃ WINNER: REZAR
2KW Undisputed Tag Team Championship
Brothers of Destruction vs Rollings & Ambrose
⁃ Ambrose is clean and back with Rollins to challenge for the Tag Team Titles. Taker and Kane have swept the Tag Team division. The rumour is if these two can't get it done the lethal lottery may return to setup a new #1 Contender team.
⁃ Ambrose stayed in most of the match and hit a bunch of Dirty Deeds DDTs and signatures, but Undertaker tapped him out with a dragon sleeper.
⁃ WINNERS AND STILL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: UNDERTAKER & KANE
#1 Contender US
Singles Match
Sabu vs Neville
⁃ Neville returned, never having his rematch for the ECW Title, and called out Sabu as a washed up nostalgia act that got a pity #1 Contenders Match. He says if Sabu was as extreme as the hype says he'd put that title shot on the line. Sabu appeared in the ring and threw a chair at his face. This is on.
⁃ Sabu tapped out Neville and shut him up
⁃ WINNER AND US TITLE #1 CONTENDER: SABU!
2KW Undisputed Championship
2 out of 3 Falls
DDP vs Bret Hart (c)
⁃ Bret has defeated DDP in more than one multiman match, but one on one he has never beaten him. All it takes is one Diamond Cutter DDP says, and so far that is true. Bret raised the stakes saying he may be able to get a lucky fall on him, but will never get two in a row. Both of these guys have chips on their shoulders from their battles with Sting. Neither man has it in him to lose or bad cheated again. This one is for all the marbles: the championship, pride, and the final victor in this rivalry.
⁃ Bret Hart attacked DDP during his entrance, but Dallas fought back into the ring and threw everything he had at him. DDP ran out of gas and Bret started dissecting him limb from limb. Bret leaned back into the corner looking at DDP, but DDP was able to crawl out of the ring to avoid a potential sharpshooter. Bret followed and got backdropped onto the floor then clotheslined. DDP slid back into the ring and Bret was counted out for the first fall!
⁃ Bret got back in, wrestled for a minute, and hit DDP with a piledriver for a pinfall.
⁃ Tied ballgame here with the title on the line. Bret immediately takes him down for a sharpshooter, but DDP gets to the ropes. Bret stalks him, takes him down again, and locks in the sharpshooter this time. Nowhere to go the people's Champion DDP lets his fans down with a tapout.
⁃ After the match Bret bizarrely grabbed a microphone and called out Batista for his recent comments on ESPN. Batista came out and they insulted each other back and forth with Bret telling everyone per his new contract he can't be touched outside of a match and he doesn't have to defend the belt until next year at the Royal Rumble.
